Neal & Leroy, LLC, Participates in the Chicago Principal for the Day Program
Neal & Leroy, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm, nationally-recognized for its experience and knowledge in the area of eminent domain and condemnation, was pleased to participate in the Chicago Principal for the Day Program held Thursday, October 30, 2008. Due to an increasing civic interest in helping the Chicago Public Schools (CPS), the Principal for a Day (PFAD) allows many business and civic leaders the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the accomplishments and challenges of students, teachers and principals and launch or renew their commitment to CPS by providing volunteers as well as materials and financial resources to support the schools.
Attorneys Jonathan Leach and Brad Smith were PFADs for Hawthorne Elementary Scholastic Academy, Chicago, IL. Also, attorney Lenny Asaro participated as PFAD at Edgebrook Elementary School in Chicago.
Since PFAD founding in 1998, the number of PFADs have grown from 677 to over 1700. Allowing the day of the event to occur in the Fall, PFADs are able to see their school as the year is getting underway. Each year, more PFADs have forged continuing relationships between "their" schools and their businesses or organizations.
