• Represented defendants in a defamation case involving Internet postings; defended the owner of a downtown office building against improper foreclosure; defended a debt guarantor against improper claims on the guaranty, Citicorp Savings v. Ascher, 196 III. App. 3d 570 (1st Dist., 1990); and, defended numerous businesses in other disputes
• Represented a health care provider in ERISA claims against insurers and CHAMPUS for payment of mental health care, Camelot Care Centers v. Planters, 836 F.Supp.545 (USDC ND 1993)
• Defended tort suits involving claims of negligence and premises liability arising out of railroad, automobile and workplace accidents
• Registered trademarks, including overcoming examiner’s objections, for a national PBS television series
• Conducted numerous commercial real estate sales and purchases
