Earl L. Neal Scholarship Awarded Spring 2024

Neal & Leroy recognizes the importance of scholarship and the financial strain that accompanies the pursuit of higher education. N&L is proud to sponsor the Earl L. Neal Scholarship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign which was created to honor the legacy of the late Earl L. Neal, the leader and owner of N&L who in 1975, served as President of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. This year the scholarship has been awarded to Angel Lopez, a political science major at UIUC. Angel stated, “Thanks to the Earl L. Neal Scholarship, I am grateful that I don't have to worry about a potential financial burden… The University of Illinois has shaped my values, emphasizing the importance of leadership and community impact. As a result, my goals have evolved toward a career in law, fueled by a newfound excitement for politics and business.”
