Jeanette Sublett Named a 2026 Notable Woman in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business

Neal & Leroy is pleased to announce that managing member and partner Jeanette Sublett has been named a 2026 Notable Woman in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business.


Jeanette maintains a broad public law and real estate-related practice, with a focus on eminent domain, municipal law, real estate, and public finance. She brings extensive experience in litigation, administrative law, land use, and community development, and regularly advises public and private clients on complex legal matters at the intersection of government and real estate.


A prominent figure in the Chicago legal and civic community, Jeanette is  a member of the American Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association, the Black Women’s Lawyer Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. Deeply committed to community engagement and civic leadership, she also serves as a member of The Women’s Board of the University of Chicago, including previously serving on its Steering Committee and as Chair of its Grants Committee.  She is also a member of The Women’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has previously been recognized as a Leading Lawyer Top 100 Woman and Leading Lawyer in Government, Municipal, and Land Use Law.
