Neal & Leroy Represents Blackthorn Capital in Simultaneous Acquisition of Two Residential Services Enterprises

Neal & Leroy represented Blackthorn Capital in the simultaneous acquisition of two established residential services enterprises, Kirkwood Heating & Cooling, Inc. and Howerton Plumbing Inc.

The transactions, which closed on February 5, 2026, involved the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of each business. Kirkwood provides residential and commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement services, and that acquisition also included the purchase of the real property associated with the business’ operations. Howerton provides a comprehensive suite of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing services. The simultaneous closing of these two transactions represents a significant platform-building initiative for Blackthorn Capital in the essential home and building services sector.
