Neal & Leroy Serves as Co-Bond Counsel to the City of Chicago on Approximately $3 Billion in Bond Issuances for O'Hare Airport

Neal & Leroy served as co-bond counsel to the City of Chicago in connection with bond issues by the City to finance the construction of improvements at O'Hare International Airport. The closing on March 4, 2026 of the Series 2026A bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $612,235,000 concludes the series of Chicago O'Hare International Airport General Airport Senior Lien Revenue Bonds issued for the Airport that were initially launched in 2025. In the aggregate, these bond issues amounted to over $3 billion in total issuance.
Proceeds of the bonds will be used to fund capital projects at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
The Neal & Leroy team was led by Anne L. Fredd and Gabriela Herrera, and included Jeanette Sublett and Brian Arnfelt.
