Neal & Leroy Managing Member Langdon Neal delivered remarks at the groundbreaking for After School Matters’ (“ASM”) newest teen center located in Chicago’s near north side Cabrini Green neighborhood. After School Matters has impacted the lives of over 400,000 Chicago teens since its inception in 1991. The event celebrated ASM’s latest expansion and the organization’s long-lasting commitment to investing in teens and local communities and was attended by Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Senate President Don Harmon.
Langdon has served on ASM’s Board of Directors for thirty years. He is chairman of the Audit Committee and guided the Real Estate Task Force in its acquisition of the new site. The three-story center will offer unique indoor and outdoor spaces catered to teens that focus on exploration, learning, and collaboration through a broad range of interests such as theater, culinary, design, coding, sports and more.
