Renée Ms. Koleczek concentrates her practice in the areas of general litigation, eminent domain, property development, real estate transactions and other real estate litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Koleczek served as in-house litigation attorney for a nationally recognized title insurance company, where she represented the company, lenders, and property owners in a wide range of title and real estate related disputes.  Throughout her career, Ms. Koleczek has provided legal counsel to banks, lenders, servicers, and debt collectors in litigation and financial regulation matters, bringing in-depth knowledge of federal consumer protection statutes, including RESPA, FCRA, TILA, TCPA, and FDCPA.  In addition, Ms. Koleczek has represented corporate and investor clients in commercial litigation matters, particularly in cases involving real estate disputes. Ms. Koleczek has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including representing real estate investment firms in major portfolio real estate acquisitions and complex bulk purchases, sales, and refinances.

• Drafts purchase and sales agreements and prepares closing documents on behalf of clients for real estate transactions.

 

• Handles land acquisitions through negotiated sales and eminent domain on behalf of government entities.

 

• Represents clients on a variety of commercial litigation matters.

 

• Represented creditors in post judgment collection matters.

 

• Represented multinational consumer goods company on numerous issues relating to regulatory compliance, intellectual property, procurement contracts, consumer claims and marketing involved in the sale of cosmetic products.

• Represented clients in post real estate closing lawsuits, homeowner association conflicts, and municipal code violation matters.

• Handled residential real estate transactions for global relocation company including drafting and reviewing contracts and closing documentation.

• Represented a nationwide real estate investment firm in asset purchase and sales, leasing, evictions, LLC creation and maintenance, code violations, and municipal compliance.
