Recognizing the promise of an education is boundless, Neal & Leroy, LLC established the Earl L. Neal Scholarship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in memory of the late Earl L. Neal, who was the former owner of the firm and in 1975, served as President of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. This year the Earl L. Neal Scholarship was awarded to Viviana Gonzalez-Pizano. Ms. Gonzalez-Pizano is a sophomore majoring in political science. She stated "without financial help I would not have been able to enjoy, nor learn comfortably, because of the constant worry of whether I would have enough money to pursue my major here. But thanks to [the Earl L. Neal Scholarship], I have been able to overcome my stress. My year so far has been going great, and I thank you for your help!"
Partner Francine Lynch, Board Member of the Hyde Park Youth Symphony, will serve as a co-host of the 2019 Hyde Park Youth Symphony Annual Gala on May 19, 2019. The Hyde Park Youth Symphony brings together diverse students from the south side of Chicago and beyond to provide a high-quality musical performance experience and education as a training ground for the next generation of performers, educators, and advocates of music and the arts.

Nicole Castillo, Partner at Neal & Leroy, presented a seminar entitled "Introduction to Eminent Domain" to Loyola University students enrolled in the Land Use Policy and Law class earlier this year. The students were excited about the presentation and participated in a lively discussion with Ms. Castillo.
Managing Member Langdon Neal and Jeanette Sublett were proud to participate in Hustle Up the Hancock this year. They climbed 94 floors in support of research and development of cures for respiratory health issues. Neal & Leroy's Hustle Up the Hancock Team members raised money and awareness for persons affected by respiratory illnesses. Go Team Neal & Leroy!
